A customer service moment: Universal Cycles won me over as a lifelong customer when on the phone arranging for a return, the guy I was talking to says, "Make sure you write your RMA number on the outside of the box, or I'll get it and go 'Woohoo! Free stem!'". You had to hear his voice. I cracked up.
The guy's willingness to help, UC's perfectly he-yooge selection, and that bit of humor makes all the difference.
Um, when measuring the degree of rise on a stem, you hold the protractor so that 90 degrees is on a horizontal axis, not vertical. That is, hold the protractor, which is "D" shaped, in the same orientation as the letter "D".
