Rats! I started a long entry, but I have to jump in the shower right now and get ready for work.
Here's two things to think on. Talk amongst yourselves:
The Japanese platform shoe craze. Shoes so high, young women are routinely coming into the emergency rooms with injuries from falling off the darn things. One teacher got so sick of seeing girls tripping, stumbling and falling that he banned platforms from his school. Heehee!
Hollywood. Why can't Hollywood come up with more original screenplays for films. Don't you just hate all the (bad) re-makes of classics. Remakes for the sake of SFX, not better acting. How about all those crappy sequels. And last but not least, let a book be a book, and film be film.
