So, the Bush Administration inherits one of the biggest federal monetary surpluses in history, then proceeds to blow it all on an unnecessary war and tax reductions for business and the rich. Compounding all that is the Republican agenda, which is to eliminate as much regulation and oversight as possible on business ('cause over the centuries of human history, business has proved itself to be a bastion of honor and moral excellence) which allows the banking system, for one, to hang itself with it's own rope. This, over nearly a decade, leads us into what could arguably called a depression, though the government & media are careful not to go there.
And Barack Obama's the bad guy 'cause he can't reverse all that in a quarter of the time it took to get there? Fuck that noise.
These kind of unrealistic expectations from the Republicans, Traitor Party, and Libertarians are what got us into this mess in the first place. Basing your politics, philosophy, and policy on fantasy is how our country ends up the way it is today.
And Republican Party continues to spite their noses to save their faces. They oppose anything the Democrats propose to try and solve the issues facing the country, don't offer a better, or even equivalent, solution, and then try to blame Barack Obama. Well, again, fuck that noise.
