Dogma makes me cry.
There's something so sad about the plight of Loki and Bartleby.
I cry three times, once during Bartleby's rant in the underground parking lot.
Then when Bethany freaks out in the woods.
And when God and Bartleby embrace before she kills him with her voice.
And though I'm an atheist, I find the whole Catholic thing endlessly fascinating. The choirs of angels, the war for the throne. Lucifer being a former angel and being cast out.
One of my favorite movies is The Name of the Rose. One of my favorite books is The Warhound and the World's Pain. And of course A Canticle for Leibowitz.
