Well, the memorial cats are doing well. They sleep with us now. They're happy little purr-pusses.
I think I've figured them out a bit. When they're playing, which is about 60 percent of the time, they DO NOT want to be touched, except by each other, nor picked up, or even talked to. They just want to play. But finally when they've played themselves into exhaustion, why then it's okay to pet them and hold them...while they fall asleep purring.
